On Saturday, June 29, the Elton John AIDS Foundation proudly joined the vibrant and joyful celebration of the 2024 London Pride Parade. But our participation is not just a celebration, it is a profound statement of solidarity and advocacy.

64 nations still classify LGBTQ+ people as criminals and in 12, homosexuality is punishable by death. Our advocacy and commitment extend beyond the celebrations of Pride Month as we work with partners around the world 365 days of the year to end LGBTQ+ stigma and fight for equality and health justice.

If we continue to unite and speak up, we can make our vision of a world where everyone has the right to live freely and love fearlessly a reality.

How we support LGBTQ+ communities

Since the Elton John AIDS Foundation was founded in 1992, we’ve made it our mission to uplift the rights, health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people around the world. This means tackling the funding gap in services that serve LGBTQ+ communities, raising awareness of care and support that is available, and increasing the capacity of these vital services.
